Delvon Lamarr est le nom qui circule à la vitesse de l'éclair chez tous les amateurs de groove funky ces derniers temps, attendu comme le messie en Europe. Créé en 2015, le trio de Delvon Lamarr a su s’imposer et se faire un nom aux Etats-Unis et à l’international. Avec le son d’orgue émouvant de Delvon, le son de guitare explosif de Jimmy James et la batterie parfaite de Dan Weiss, les trois artistes ont trouvé l’équilibre parfait entre soul, jazz, rhythm 'n' blues et rock 'n' roll. Leur premier album intitulé Close But No Cigar figure, en 2018, au premier rang du classement des albums de jazz contemporain américain, suivi de Live at Kexp, un enregistrement qui offre un bel aperçu de la flamboyante énergie scénique des américains.

Delvon Lamarr is the name which has been travelling at lightning speed lately between all fans of funky groove, eagerly awaited in Europe. Created in 2015, Delvon Lamarr’s trio has succeeded in gaining recognition and making a name for itself in the United States and internationally. With Delvon’s stirring organ sound, Jimmy James’ explosive guitar sound and Dan Weiss’s perfect drums, the three artists have struck the perfect balance between soul, jazz, rhythm 'n' blues and rock 'n' roll. Their first album, intitled "Close But No Cigar" made it to the top ranking in 2018 of American contemporary jazz albums, followed by "Live at Kexp", a recording which gives a great insight into the flamboyant stage energy of the Americans.
